RHD recognized for innovative services at 2018 Social Innovations Awards

RHD Vice President of Innovation Stacy Olsen DiStefano and Marian Uhlman, director of RHD’s Healthy Newsworks, were honored by Social Innovations Journal at the 2018 Social Innovations Awards.
Olsen DiStefano was recognized for her work in Community & Behavioral Health. She combines a drive to intentionally infuse Innovation into program development, staff retention and growth, and to link RHD’s corporate mission with non-traditional partners.
Uhlman was recognized for her work in Building Healthy Communities. Healthy Newsworks, part of RHD’s New Beginnings Nonprofit Incubator program, empowers students in grades 3 through 8 to promote literacy and health education.

The Social Innovations Journal honors the region’s most passionate and accomplished social innovators and entrepreneurs and the work that they are doing to make Greater Philadelphia a more inclusive, equitable, and thriving region of opportunity for all residents. The Social Innovations Journal Awards celebrate Philadelphia’s regional visionaries and how they are changing the social landscape in Greater Philadelphia.
