Family Health and Birth Center

Join the Family Practice and Counseling Network as we create Philadelphia’s only family health and birth center.  Your gift will provide the critical start-up funding needed to make this center a reality.

Consider one of the important gifts below:

$100 will provide 5 birthing balls for pregnant women as they go through labor and the birthing process
$500 will provide a bathtub in the birth suite for women in labor
$1,000 will help us set up the first birthing rooms by providing bed linens and comforters
$2,500 will equip the center with its first fetal monitor to ensure safe deliveries
$5,000 will equip the center with an exam table for medical exams
$10,000 will provide the center with an array of equipment such as microscopes, delivery instruments, defibrillator and an incubator
$25,000 will provide items such as an audioscope, oxygen machine, a set of scales, exam tables, waiting room and family room furniture

We are currently raising funds in loving memory of Libby Harman, women’s healthcare advocate and champion.  We are seeking to raise the funds to name a birthing suite in honor of her life’s work and unwavering dedication to women. All donations made in Libby’s honor will be matched by the Independence Foundation.
If you’d like to donate in honor of Libby Harman, please donate here
If you’d prefer to send a check, please mail to Donna Torrisi, Family Practice and Counseling Network, 4700 Wissahickon Ave., Suite 118 Philadelphia, PA. 19144
