IBHS

RHD works to achieve productive and emotionally fulfilling development among children and young adults. RHD provides Early Intervention services from birth to age 5 and offers long-term hospitalization services for children ages 6-11 at the Stepping Stones program.

RHD is pleased to partner with CBH and the School District of Philadelphia to provide Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) to children, youth, and young adults in Clusters 15 and 32 in North and Northwest Philadelphia.

Program Model

Individual Services will include interventions that support children and their families with teaching skills and strategies to reduce and manage behaviors while also increasing prosocial behavior of children. RHD will utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) as the primary evidence-based model for individual therapy.  Individual services will be offered through:

  • Mobile Therapy (MT)
  • Behavior Consultant (BC)
  • Behavior Health Technician (BHT)

Group Services will include therapeutic intervention delivered in a group format. RHD will utilize Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools (CBITS) for grades 5 through 12. Bounce Back (an adaption of CBITS) will be used for children ages 5 -11.  Group therapy and treatment planning will be delivered by the Mobile Therapist with clinical direction and plan revision by the BC and implementation of the plan by the BHT.
