Annual Appeal

During this ever-changing global pandemic, we all must take a step back and determine how to move forward and continue thriving as before or even better. A crisis such as this causes a domino effect, creating the need for more services. In times of devastation, it is even more imperative to look to the future, which is what we are focusing on at RHD. Now is not the time to give up, it’s the time to get motivated!

The COVID-19 pandemic has been an experience none of us have seen or witnessed in our lifetimes, and truly has challenged our ability to balance the needs of the vulnerable individuals we serve, our staff and their families. We recognized the changes that had to be made in our service delivery, the need for PPE and other measures to protect those we serve and staff, and the need to be creative in providing different, unique support to the communities we serve. The pandemic has interrupted RHD programming, having an impact that we will be recovering from long after a vaccine is available.

In times of uncertainty such as this, we see the best of our community emerge. We remain steadfast and committed to the work ahead of us which includes, continuing to provide the highest-quality services, building systems and practices to capture outcomes so that we can continue to improve. During this holiday season, please consider making a gift to RHD. The people we serve rely on the generosity of supporters who believe that every person should be treated with dignity and have the opportunity to develop their full potential. We have approximately 160 programs across the country that serve over 50,000 individuals within the following service lines: Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Addiction Recovery, Women & Children, Youth Development, Behavioral Health, Homelessness, Family Health & Counseling, and Veterans.

We are all in this together!
