This year RHD announced a capital campaign to support expanding services at Morris Home, while growing Morris Home in a safe and welcoming new environment, and efforts to grow the program’s impact for the transgender community have attracted plenty of attention. Actress and LGBT advocate Laverne Cox hosted RHD Morris Home at her show “An Evening With Laverne Cox” at Penn (see photos here). Morris Home was also featured in the Philadelphia Gay News in a story titled “Transgender Recovery Will Expand Services.”
