RHD Street2Feet Outreach Center celebrates five years of supporting people experiencing homelessness in Monroe County with an anniversary breakfast April 5 at East Stroudsburg United Methodist Church. Proceeds will help Street2Feet provide vital services to people in need and make an essential impact in our community.

Online registration for this event is closed. Tickets will be available at the door.

Registration opens at 8:30am; program begins at 9am. Street2Feet’s Anniversary Celebration will feature a raffle and a recognition ceremony, where Street2Feet will thank many of our partners and supporters. In addition, three Street2Feet clients will tell their stories, showcasing the impact Street2Feet has made in their lives.

“It’s hard to believe it’s been five years,” Street2Feet Director Leslie Perryman said. “We’ve been able to open a lot of eyes and shine a light on the needs of people experiencing homelessness. They say it takes a village; well, we couldn’t have done this without our village. A lot of people came together to help us make a difference.”

In five years, Street2Feet has helped more than 350 people attain housing, and seen more than 200 people gain employment. Street2Feet provides vital services to people experiencing homelessness, including case management, linkage to mental health services, linkage to Drug & Alcohol services; support in accessing health care, and vocational support.
