“Now more than ever community health centers like ours need the continued bi-partisan support of our legislators,” Torrisi said.

Community health centers across the U.S. provide quality, affordable, and accessible primary care to more than 27 million individuals. RHD’s Family Practice & Counseling Network has been at the forefront of this effort for more than 25 years as Pennsylvania’s first nurse-led health center, meeting the healthcare needs of underserved individuals and families regardless of ability to pay. FPCN was founded as a program of Resources for Human Development in 1992 and today is the largest nurse-led health care network in the country, serving more than 22,000 patients each year.
