RHD CORE

RHD’s CORE (Capitalizing On a Recovery Environment) is a long-term community reintegration recovery program for adult males with mental health and substance abuse issues who are re-joining society post-adjudication or who are looking for the support of a long-term program at any time post-detoxification.

CORE recognizes that there isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach to addiction recovery. CORE is dedicated to helping clients learn life skills as a part of their addiction recovery, empowering them to lead fulfilling lives long after they’ve left the program.

Services are strengths-based, values-driven, and centered on the philosophy that addiction is a chronic disease and should not be treated like an episodic illness.

RHD’s trauma-informed, person-centered approach is at the center of CORE. CORE utilizes recovery principles in providing a diverse range of services that build life skills and self-confidence and remove as many barriers to independent living as possible so that people can build successful lives in their community.
