June 13, 2017
The Board of Directors of Resources for Human Development today announced that Dyann Roth is leaving RHD to become President and CEO of Inglis. Marco Giordano will become Interim Chief Executive Officer effective July 31, 2017. Giordano has been RHD’s Chief Financial Officer since 2013.
“RHD was very lucky to have had Dyann as CEO in a time of great change and transition,” RHD Board of Directors’ Chairman Michael Denomme said. “All of us at RHD – from our staff, to our community partners, to the people we serve – owe Dyann a debt of gratitude for her leadership and vision and the empathy and humanity with which she treated people every day. Because of Dyann’s work as CEO, RHD is now well-positioned for the future, with a solid organizational structure and a strong and experienced Executive Team in place to assure that RHD will continue to thrive as a national leader in delivering the highest quality human services to people across the country.
“The Board feels tremendously fortunate to have Marco in position to step in as Interim CEO. Marco’s experience and leadership will be invaluable during this transition, and he is absolutely the right person to help guide RHD at this time.”
Roth had been RHD’s Chief Executive Officer since 2013.
“For more than half my life, I have had the amazing good fortune to be part of the RHD community,” Roth said. “I have grown up personally and professionally in this great organization. I am who I am today because of RHD.
“I leave RHD with strong emotions, but with a firm belief that RHD is on sure footing with the Board, Marco as Interim CEO, and the strong Executive Team now in place. I will forever remain a passionate advocate of the heroic work done every day by the people at RHD.”
Giordano joined RHD in February 2007 as Chief Accounting Officer and became Chief Financial Officer in 2013. A Certified Public Accountant since 1996, Giordano’s area of expertise was auditing not-for-profit enterprises. He joined RHD after five years of public accounting experience at Cogen Sklar Levick (now Morison Cogen LLP) and nine years at Temple University Hospital, where he began as Accounting Manager in 1998 and became Controller, working closely with the CFO and Senior Management Team. Giordano attended Widener University and graduated with a BBA in Accounting.
