Community Accountants

Community Accountants’ mission is to provide pro-bono accounting-related services through volunteers to help non-profit organizations become financially literate. Community Accountants helps organizations handle their own financial records and reports effectively. Community Accountants was the first non-profit organization in the United States to provide such a service to small non-profits, and remains one of only three similar programs in the country today. Community Accountants has expanded program services over time, beginning with pro bono accounting direct service and adding fiscal management, seminars and workshops, publications, board placement, Ask-An-Accountant, a free hotline, and referrals.
