Morris Home & Anthropologie Campaign
Resources for Human Development (RHD) is excited to announce the continuation of a partnership with Anthropologie. Last year, Anthropologie honored RHD Morris Home for Pride Month. Morris Home supports trans and gender non-conforming individuals as they develop the knowledge, skills, and supports necessary to promote sobriety, manage emotional and behavioral difficulties, choose and maintain safe and healthy lifestyles, and develop healthy relationships with peers, family, and the community.
Morris Home, the only residential recovery program in the country specifically for the transgender community, provides a safe, recovery-oriented environment in which people are treated with respect and dignity. In 2021, Anthropologie made an initial $10,000 donation towards Morris Home’s life-changing and often life-saving services. Additionally, they recently donated over $40,000 of furnishings to Morris Home’s new building that opened in April.
In an effort to support and enrich the incredible work being done for LGBTQIA+ equality, Anthropologie is pledging an additional $25,000 financial donation to Morris Home to use as they see fit. In the coming months, Anthropologie will provide interviews and testimonials of Morris Home members to amplify their voices nationally. The public will be encouraged to donate to Morris Home via a QR code on in-store signage in all Anthropologie stores.
We’re grateful for this continued partnership and support of RHD Morris Home. This connection will allow us the opportunity to not only grow the program but also foster relationships with others across the country.
Pride is universal but can also start with a single heartfelt connection. Please consider connecting with RHD Morris Home today!
