Upon arriving, each family will be greeted by a volunteer who will be hosting them throughout the event.  The mayor, area sports celebrities, the Phillie Phanatic, and Wawa’s Mascot, Wally Goose, will all be in attendance and share in an exciting afternoon including:

  • Games, Face Painters, and Balloon Sculptors
  • Food and Music
  • Character and Mascot Visits
  • Family Photo Station that provides a photo for every family in attendance
  • Special guests…to be announced closer to event

In addition to the fun, food and games each child will be presented with a great gift and a brand new winter coat provided by Operation Warm.

VOLUNTEER ROLE: Volunteers are at the heart of this event, which could not be possible without their time and support. Volunteers have found their role to be inspiriting and meaningful as they spend an afternoon with a family, hosting them throughout the event, spending time together and ensuring they receive all the event has to offer.
