RHD operates various residential and day progams for persons with mental retardation in the following states:

Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Louisiana, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania

The key to RHD's services for persons with mental retardation is flexibility, based on consumer needs: RHD services range in intensity from 10 hours per week to complete wrap-around residential/day services that are provided on a 24 hour/7 days per week basis. Services are created in response to individual need and assessment.

Consumer-centered programming is our guiding principle and the development of a supportive network of staff, family and friends is the cornerstone of each program and service. RHD creates flexible and innovative programs, particularly for those consumers with complex needs that include behavioral issues such as aggression or violence and co-existing substance abuse, mental health or physical health problems.
