Resources for Human Development has established a variety of programs improving the lives of men and women who require post-adjudication services. RHD recognizes that second chances are often difficult to come by, so our priority is to help provide the opportunities.
Our person-centered approach allows us to foster several programs such as
Brothers Keepers Hope Improvement, a general contracting business that employs adjudicated men and women while empowering them to set and reach their own goals and become self-sufficient. Other initiatives such as our
New Start program function as a way to provide treatment to men in the Philadelphia prison system with a substance abuse disorder. Treatment for our post-adjudication programs is recovery-oriented and is designed to promote independence, responsibility and continual growth for people who might otherwise fall back into the system.
