Description |
One Step Away is Philadelphia's first newspaper produced by those without homes for those with homes. The monthly tabloid includes news about homelessness and affordable housing as well as creative writing, photographs, illustrations and other content produced by those in temporary shelters operated by RHD and other nonprofits. Street vendors who have no job or shelter buy the newspaper for 25 cents, then distribute it on the street for a for a $1 donation.
